The Clay Studio of Missoula is a nonprofit community center for the ceramic arts. The organization‚Äôs goal is to provide the general public with affordable access to high-quality ceramic art instruction. They strive to fulfill this goal by:\n\n1) Offering a wide array of ceramics classes and workshops to adults and children of all levels of skill.\n\n2) Providing local ceramicists with inexpensive access to studio space and professional quality equipment.\n\n3) Hosting resident artists from across the country who are able to share their ideas, experiences, and techniques with our students.\n\n4) Holding monthly exhibitions of contemporary ceramic works in our studio gallery.\n\n

The University of Montana’s¬†Gallery of Visual Arts presents professional contemporary exhibitions that serve the School, University at large, and the surrounding community with its interdisciplinary offerings. It is considered a teaching and professional research laboratory, and is one of the School of Art‚Äôs most visible forms of outreach. The exhibitions and presentations feature regional, national, and international artists, exhibitions of all B.F.A. senior thesis projects, all M.A. and M.F.A. thesis projects, an art faculty exhibition, and one juried art student exhibition annually.\n\nExhibition tours for public and private schools, as well as other departments on campus, can be scheduled by calling the gallery.\n\nLocated in the Social Sciences Building, University of Montana.\n\nOpen 11 a.m. ‚Äì 5 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and 11 a.m. ‚Äì 7 PM.\nThursday, Monday by appointment. Closed mid-May through the end of August.
