HandMADE Montana celebrates and supports artists, makers, and small creative businesses across the state. Founded by Carol Lynn Lapotka, HandMADE Montana operates a retail shop in Polson and produces large-scale MADE fairs in communities across Montana, including Bozeman, Missoula, and Helena.

Our events and marketplace feature hundreds of artists working in ceramics, jewelry, textiles, woodworking, home goods, and other handmade disciplines. Through fairs, exhibitions, and retail partnerships, HandMADE Montana helps artists grow sustainable creative businesses while connecting communities with the people and stories behind handmade work.

HandMADE Montana events have provided opportunities for more than 1500 artists and annually generates over $2 million in revenue for makers and local creative economies.
