Arts & Above

About Arts & Above

Arts & Above presents the creations of co-founders Kate Jordan Augusto and Bruno Augusto, with the purpose of challenging the mind and inspiring the soul. Together they design community events that involve a variety of artists at all stages of their careers, speaking through their chosen mediums. Sharing the work is paramount; Arts & Above promotes performance in unconventional spaces as well as traditional theaters, fostering inclusion and expression.

We create dances, music, visual arts, installations, films, and more. We present live performances for the local community, as well as nationally, and internationally. We perform in conventional and unconventional spaces, from proscenium to blackbox stages, and art galleries and the open nature. We provide educational opportunities through on-going movement classes, workshops, and residencies, and are committed to reaching out to all people.

The organization was formed in January of 2014 by artists Kate Jordan Augusto and Bruno Augusto. Arts & Above is a not-for-profit, interdisciplinary arts organization based in Missoula, Montana.
