The String Orchestra of the Rockies opens its forty-second consecutive season with a program titled “Bach and Beyond,” featuring guest artist Tim Fain, violin, on Sunday, September 13th, at 4:00 p.m. in the UM Music Recital Hall.
Praised by the New York Times for his “technical finesse and lyrical ardor,” Tim Fain will be guest soloist in Bach’s beloved A Minor violin concerto and is joined by SOR Artistic Director Maria Larionoff for a performance of Arvo Pärt’s iconic minimalistic masterpiece Tabula Rasa. Works by Penderecki and selections from Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence will also be included.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at sormt.org/tickets. Remaining tickets will be available at the door the day of the concert.
Season tickets are $130 for adults and $110 for seniors.
Single concert ticket prices are $35 for adults, $30 for seniors, and $12 for students.
