What is your dance experience? From never-been-on-the-dance-floor to childhood ballet classes, we want to hear about it!

What's your story? Why did Dancing with Arts Missoula Stars intrigue you? What do you hope to gain out of this experience?

Dancing with Arts Missoula Stars is Arts Missoula's annual fundraiser. As a participant, you will: 1) become an ambassador for AM as well as the dance community; 2) Raise a baseline of $2000 through our fundraising platform; and 3) have a great time! Please respond to indicate your understanding or put questions you have about the process here!

The baseline amount is a suggestion, of course. You will not be billed for any remainder amount if you do not reach $2000. This figure is to cover our costs for the event and reflects the cost of paying for your professional dance partner, sourcing and modifying your costumes for the event, rental of the venue, advertising, tech, and more. Our fundraiser is intended to support Arts Missoula programming and allow us to carry out our mission of advocacy for, education about, and celebration of the arts!

Dancing with Arts Missoula Stars requires 8 weeks of once-a-week rehearsals from the beginning of January until show day in March. We know there will be schedule conflicts and other interuptions. Do you have any known conflicts during this time?

Dancing With Arts Missoula Stars School is January 7th, 2026 from 5:30-8:30pm. Show Day is TBD March 2026. First Dress rehearsal is TBD. You will have rehearsals one day a week from the first week of January until Show Day. Rehearsal dates and times will be decided by you and your partner.

Preferred Style of dance to learn **this will be considered for sure! But, there are schedule considerations that may make this harder to accommodate.(Required)

Do you have any injuries or other health concerns you would like to share with us? Share only what you are comfortable for Heather and your dance partner to know that would impact your comfort and ease dancing.(Required)

Think about things like that old ski injury makes your knee act up, for example. Dancing is a sport! It is physical and we want you to remain happy and healthy through the whole process.

Dancing with Arts Missoula Stars School is January 7th, 5pm-7:30pm! Attendance to this is mandatory, as you will get to dance, meet your Arts Missoula Board Member, and go over the details of the event. Please indicate here that you're prepared to book this time in your calendar.

We like to make it fun! Think of it as the first day of school - you and your dance partner will buddy up, meet your board member, and learn all abobut how we can make this event a success together! And of course, dance!

How comfortable are you with social media sharing, emails and texts to friends to help you reach your goal?
