Born in Butte and firmly rooted in Missoula since the mid-90s, I am someone who has always taken doodling entirely too seriously. Working primarily in pen, watercolor, and alcohol markers, my style has been described as a detailed blend of Pop Surrealism and Dark Whimsy.
My aesthetic is heavily influenced by the linework of local legends Jay Rummell and Bob Phinney, alongside iconic illustrators like Edward Gorey, Sergio Aragonés, and Geof Darrow. Recently, I’ve started to draw inspiration from Mid-Century Modern design and 1960s UPA animation.
I enjoy creating scenes that leave the final story up to the viewer. I love seeing different people take away completely different meanings, and I want you to discover something new every time you look!
Open for work! Let’s chat about your idea, sketch a direction, and create a final, traditional piece. Pricing is based on size and complexity.
Thanks for stopping by! Check my portfolio, get in touch – say hello! 🙂
