Arts Missoula is committed to providing access and assistance to those with disabilities. Unfortunately we do not own or manage any of the venues that our events take place at, so at times issues of accessibility are out of our control. First Friday
On the first Friday of each month venues across Missoula, primarily galleries and museums, participate in an art walk. This event is organically produced, meaning that each particular venue produces its own event independent of the rest. Arts Missoula’s role in First Friday is to collect and distribute information about each distinct event. The number and type of venues that participate vary on a monthly basis. If you would like more information regarding accessibility we recommend you contact the venue which you will be visiting directly.
Events Promoted on this Website
In addition to First Friday, Arts Missoula often promotes events not directly produced by Arts Missoula. For questions regarding accessibility, please contact the organization directly.
Arts Missoula Statement of Intent
Arts Missoula Statement of Intent
At Arts Missoula, we believe in the power of the arts to bring people together and strengthen our community. We are committed to supporting all artists and arts organizations as small businesses and recognize they are essential contributors to Missoula’s cultural and economic vitality.
We acknowledge that some communities of artists and creators have historically faced barriers to representation and opportunity. Our goal is to listen, learn, and collaborate to work toward greater access to the tools and platforms needed to thrive. We are dedicated to uplifting and amplifying voices and to fostering an inclusive environment where all forms of creative expression are celebrated.
By focusing on connection, opportunity, and equity, we aim to nurture a thriving, vibrant arts community that reflects and serves all who call Missoula home.
